*any room/board for out of town trips is covered by Experience BCS, and there is a van to use for daily errands so you do not use your own vehicle*
With this internship, I was able to network to many different people and companies throughout College Station and Austin. I talked on the phone and met with sales managers from every major hotel in College Station, which helped me line up a full-time position after graduation at a new hotel here in town. I also traveled to Austin, TX for a sales blitz, which introduced me to Meeting Planners and clients from Austin.
The amount of experience I received from this internship is more than I can describe. The amount of networking that comes with the job opened my eyes to the tourism industry. I would HIGHLY suggest anyone going into event planning, servicing or hotels to consider this internship.
